Jesus Is Warning Again "Take These Things From Here; Make Not My Father's House A Merchandise".

Dear People of God,
Greetings, let's talk a little bit about the revelation of God in John 2:16 which says, "And He said to them that sold doves, Take these things from here; make not My Father's house a house of merchandise". This has rubbed many churches today of the presence of God. Jesus is so angry at people who makes His Father's house a merchandise, simply put a market. Before we start discussing on ways people make the house of God, a market, let's look at how angry Jesus gets at those that do this wrong. Beginning from verse 15 of John 2, John said "And when He had made a SCOURGE OF SMALL CORDS, He drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers money, and overthrew the tables" GNB translates it that "He made a WHIP FROM CORDS!" He is so bitter at people that do this.
Brethren we cannot afford to watch the whip from cords made by Jesus to touch any of us. it would be really bad. and notice again in the same verse, 15 "HE DROVE THEM ALL OUT OF THE TEMPLE" so watch it, NO ONE guilty of this sin will be left out.

Let this thought be in your heart as we discuss a bit on how our Father's house is now being made a house of merchandise. First of all when you say someone behaves like a market woman, we all know exactly what it means right?? okay hold that thought, the things that make a woman a market woman are the vices that the market is characterized of. so now what are these vices that characterize a market place;
  1. Theft; we all know that in the market, theft is becoming the norm, As a matter of fact, whenever one is going to the market, you either take a wallet that you can hold firmly, or if you will be taking your purse then you must hold it so tight to you and monitor it carefully. I have been to a market, where a seller I met was advising me to hold my bag tight and be careful. it is simply a rule of the market. people steal on a daily basis in the market, but how can someone come to the house of God and steal? God's house is a place of refuge, a place of God's glory, a dwelling place of God. please don't play with fire.
  2. Extortion: Brethren we all have been to various markets. Every seller in the market wants to make profit, some want to have a huge bargain while some are there to dupe others and abscond with their money. They try so hard to convince you to buy what they are selling. Something could actually be $5 and then they are ready to swear that they bought it $150 and it is even impossible for them to sell it at $200, and finally when you pay $205 and buy and leave they call you a fool. these things happen clearly in some churches today. even some men of God who are ordained are guilty of this. How can a man of God extort from his members? who are you working for? who do you look up to for payment? God or man. and why would you not be an example of what you preach? See what apostle Paul wrote in 2 Thess 3: 6-9, " Now we command you, brethren in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother that walks disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us - For yourselves know how you ought to follow us, for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you; Neither did we eat any man's bread for nothing; but wrought with labor and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: Not because we have not power but to make ourselves an example to you to follow us". If you are in it mainly to serve God whom you claim has called you to do His work, then you should carefully study Mathew 6:33, "But seek ye first, the kingdom of God and His righteousness: and all these things shall be added to you". if Matthew 6:33 is not fulfilling in your life then check yourself, something is wrong with you, because the Word of God CAN NEVER LIE. maybe you haven't received it entirely in your heart, maybe you haven't believed it entirely in your heart, you probably preach it as just a part of the Gospel that you must preach, and how dare you preach what you don't believe?
  3. Murder: yes, MURDER. Be not deceived, there are so many ways one can commit murder.
  • Verbal Murder: see Prov 12:6a, "The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood" GNT says "The words of the wicked are murderous". There are some people in the Church whose words are filled with so much hate. The kind of things they say about people they smile with in church are disastrous. don't forget God is all knowing, He searches the deepest secrets in your heart. He knows what you are thinking at any point in time. you can deceive all but you cannot deceive God.
  • Murder Via Hate: See 1 John 3:15, "Whosoever hates his brother is a murderer: and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in Him", beware you that cannot stand that the sight of that church member, you can't just tell why but you just hate her/him. I hope it is clear to you now that you are really a murderer or else you mean that the Bible lied in 1 John 3:15. some Market women just hate themselves maybe due to competition or whatever reason, but this attitude should never be seen in the dwelling place of God.
  • Physical Murder: yes, It exists in some churches, try asking google and see what come up, series of murder committed by pastors, parishioners, church members, etc, out of the extreme selfish interest that has made the devil take over their minds and use them to carry out his mission. John 10:10. Please people of God, do not give devil the slightest opportunity. let's attempt to end the list here.
 The list is inexhaustible! Backbiting, Gossip, greed, envy, deceit, malice, Insolent, arrogance, Slander, Boastful, Fornication, Wickedness, Covetousness, Full of Spite, Hating God (yes, some people that come to church hate God, read 1 John 4:20), Pride, Inventing evil, Disobeying Parents (YES!), Lust, Unmerciful, and all other vices that characterizes a market. Rom 1:28-32.

God is a merciful God and at the same time, God is a consuming fire, no one plays with fire, but remember 1 John 1:9 "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness". God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die for us, we should never allow sin to separate us from the love of God.
Our zeal to keep striving towards perfection in the Kingdom of God and faith in God is what actually makes us righteous. Righteousness is not a state of being without sin but a desperation to please God as a lifestyle. Rom 4:3-25, Abraham wasn't without sin yet He was seen as righteous before God for Blessed is a man whose sins God does not count. (Psalm 32:2) Jesus already died for our sins.

if you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior, you are like the market man or woman, if you are not saved, you are not safe, if you are not sure, then you are not saved. if you would like to give your life to Christ, say this prayer and mean it,
"Lord Jesus, I have come to You today, I accept that I am a sinner and I confess my sins and repent from them. I believe that You died on the cross of Calvary for my sins. Thank You for forgiving me. today I am saved, I am born again. thank You Jesus". if you said this prayer congratulations, you are now a child of God, so let go of the past evil ways, for the Bible says if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things have passed away, behold, all things are become new (2 Cor 5:17). Be Blessed.
