Jesus is waiting for you to grow up, so He can give you that!

Greetings Everyone,
 We must learn to map out our scale of preference properly, why do you really want Jesus?, is it because you heard that He performs miracles or because you want the eternal life He gives? Is it because your life can't be meaningful without him? Who is God to you? Someone you only engage when you have needs? Is that all God is to you? if that is so then you need to re arrange your scale of preference because He is All-knowing , you need to readjust your rank of needs. See what Jesus told them when the multitude came looking for Him, in John 6:26, "Verily, Verily I say to you, you seek me not because you saw the miracles, but because you did eat of the loaves and were filled". Matthew 12:38-39, "Then certain of the scribes and Pharisees answered saying , 'Master, we would see a sign from you' - But He answered and said to them, "An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but he sign of Prophet Jonah:"



so many of us today are like that, so many of us in the kingdom are simply using God. But there is something we must know, NO ONE CAN OUTSMART GOD. He already knows why you want Him. We must always know that God's ultimate plan for us is to make Heaven, to have eternal life, Deuteronomy 30:19 says, "I call Heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessings and cursing: therefore choose life that both you and your seed may live" and 1 Timothy 2:3-4, says, "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; - Who will have all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth" also in 2 Peter 3:9, we find out that the Lord is not willing for any one to perish, but that all should come to repentance. In other words anything that He sees that might draw you away from His main purpose for us, He keeps away. that's why sometimes it looks as if God has not been answering, maybe He has seen that if He gives you the financial fortune for example, pride will set in, you won't even come to church again, you wont even bother paying your tithe, you become arrogant and mean to others, and so in other to save your life for the eternal life ahead, He prefers to keep you at the present level, because He sees that at this level you come to church regularly, you are always obeying instructions from the Word of God, you are humble, you always communicate with Him in prayers, so He just keeps you on that level.

Take for instance, you have a 12 year old son that really wants to drive your car, He craves for that everyday. He might be trying all ways to convince you that he can drive, let me ask you this, will you give Him a car to drive, even though that is his greatest heart desire, maybe he hasn't even eaten for days so you can pity him and let him drive?? I tell you, no matter how much you want to provide all his needs, you love him so much that you don't want him to die, so you would never give him a car to drive at that age, even if he cries out blood.

But again if this same son of yours grows up to be 16years, for example and desires to drive with that same zeal as before, you might consider granting that request, and if he is 18years, then you will even grant it more than when he was 16 years. and lets say he's 22 years and hasn't said anything about driving, you would even be the one convincing him to please go and get a drivers license and drive.

Now that is the same way, we grow in God. The only way you can convince God that you are matured enough to handle great things is to grow Spiritually, to achieve great heights in our Spiritual life and in our walk with God. Be Spiritually mature. Show God that you love Him not for what He does but for Who He is. those who love God for what He does, may soon loose their love for Him, because if it seems as if what they are seeking for is not coming forth, they gradually withdraw from things of God, you see them very weak to pray, contemplating whether to go to church or not, day to day they won't bother reading their Bible, all these are as a result of the fact that they are gradually loosing the love they claimed to have for God.

God is the I AM THAT I AM, He doesn't need anybody, everyone needs Him, whether you backslide or front slide, He is still God. No one can feel big for God. some people boldly tell God, "Lord if you don't do this for me, I won't come to church or serve You or do anything related to the Kingdom", and they think God will be affected and feel bad. When some of the Pharisees asked Jesus to rebuke His disciples in Luke 19:39-40, Jesus said to them "I tell you, that if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out". There is nothing you and I does that affect God, He is the same size, the same height, FOREVER. So if any man wants to go to the devil, God will simply let the person go to the devil and then when the devil handles the person just a little bit, He would run back to God. God is a respecter of no man, (Romans 2:11).

Instead of asking and asking, build up your Spiritual life, Build up your walk with God. Communicate with Him often, study the Word, Help the needy, obey His commandments, grow Spiritually, Be Spiritually mature, graduate from taking milk to taking strong meat as seen in Hebrews 5:12-14, "For when for the time you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again, which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk and not of strong meat. - For everyone that uses milk is unskillful in the Words of Righteousness: for he is a babe. - But strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil". It's time to make God know that even if He blesses you with a billion dollars, your love and interest in the Kingdom will never stop rather it will even grow and improve the more. Give Him that sincere assurance and watch what He will do. Remember you can't fake anything with God, He knows everything you are thinking of. So you must sincerely come to that point where you fall in love with God. I mean, the point where you just can't help but love Him, no matter what He does or doesn't do. that is what SPIRITUAL MATURITY means.

Ephesians 4:13-15, "Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to a measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; - That we hereafter Be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of me, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; - But speaking the truth in love, may grow up in Him in all things which is the head, even Christ;"

first things first,  if you have not received Christ, then you are not saved, if you are not saved, you are not safe, if you are not sure, then you are not saved. if you would like to give your life to Christ or maybe you fell off at some point and you would like to return back and reconnect with God, say this prayer and mean it, " Lord Jesus, I come to You today, I accept that I am a sinner and I confess my sins and repent from them. I believe that You died on the cross of Calvary for my sins. Thank You for forgiving me. today I am saved, I am born again. thank You Jesus". if you said this prayer congratulations, you are now a child of God, so let go of the past evil ways, for the Bible says if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things have passed away, behold, all things are become new (2 Cor 5:17).
