Put Up A Fight To Possess Your Possession!

Hi, everyone, like I said yesterday, we must put up a fight with the dragon, (the devil) so that we can possess our possessions because the devil will not surrender all your entitlements as a child of God, until you put up a fight with him.

while I was meditating on the Word of God in Revelation 12. light broke forth. I became so angry with the devil because he has chosen to make war with the children of God who obey God's commandment and have the testimony of Jesus Christ, as we can see in Revelation 12:17. the devil is not after sinners because he is rest assured that they are going to hell, but he is after a Christian especially, the person who believes and obeys the commandment of God. No wonder, one see an unbeliever succeeding in his wrong ways while his master, the devil is sitting on a Christian's inheritance. that's why Psalm 37:1 says "Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity", also in verse 7, the Psalmist reiterates, "Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him: FRET not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass".

Brethren it is time to stand up and take what is rightfully yours, it is not that God is still trying to give us our inheritance, NO! He has already prepared us for the life of good deeds, Ephesians 2:10, "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in". Understand that once one accepts Christ and is born again, he automatically regains his root in Christ and signs in for a life of good works, (I already explained this in my first topic). But why the trials? one may ask. Brethren, just before you start thinking that maybe it was just a casual statement in the Bible, there is no casual statement in the Bible and please for GOD'S SAKE, whatever condition you have is not what God wants for you, He never planned that for you. see the parable that Jesus narrated in Matthew 13:27-28 "So the servants of the householder came and said unto Him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?" and in verse 28a "He said unto them, an enemy hath done this".

The Lord did not plant that in you please it is the enemy that has done that. See for yourself what your life should look like in Psalm 112, it says because we fear the lord and delight greatly in His commandment,

• our seed shall be mighty upon the earth, our generation shall be blessed.
• Wealth and riches shall be in our house and righteousness endureth for ever.
• Our presence brings light in darkness, we are gracious and full of compassion and righteous.
• we show favour and lendeth, we guide our affairs with discretion.
• Surely we shall not be moved forever, we shall be in everlasting remembrance.
• We shall not be afraid of evil tidings, our hearts are fixed and we trust in the Lord.
• Our hearts are established, We shall not be afraid, We shall see our desires upon our enemies.
• We shall keep dispersing and giving to the poor, Our righteousness endureth for ever, Our horns shall be exalted with honour.
• The wicked shall see it and be grieved, he shall gnash upon his teeth and melt away, the desires of the wicked shall perish.

We are meant to be envied by the wicked not for us to be envying the wicked! The above is simply a sneak peek of how a Christian's life must be, we have so many wonderful, mind blowing inheritances in Christ, but while some are living in this realm and enjoying inheritance in Christ, some are living a very demeaning life. if you find yourself in the later category, well, tell yourself  "This has to stop" and mean it. if you really mean it, then it's time to put up a fight against the dragon, he has already started a war with you, Revelation 12:17, "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ". if you keep quiet, then you have settled to remain in that position FOR LIFE. get on to Mount Zion and possess your possession Obadiah 1:17 "But upon Mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. 1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour"

Don't blame yourself, it didn't start with you and it wont end with you. This is how it works in this Kingdom. See, Matthew 11:12, "And from the days of the John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. Don't say you are just quiet and you don't want any trouble, well that's the kind of thing the devil would like to hear. Stand up! if you don't like your situation, Please do something, before it gets even worse!

Lord, even after giving the Israelites the land Heshbon and their king, He told them "begin to possess it and contend with him in battle" Deuteronomy 2:24, understand this, the Lord has given us victory but there has to be a war for a Victor to emerge. if the Lord said they should contend with the enemy in battle, what then are you waiting for. Always remember you can never fight with God's backing and loose because  greater is He that is in us that he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4) and 1 John 5:4-5 says, "For whosoever is born of God overcometh the world, and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith" verse 5 says, "Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Quickly now, how do we fight this war that the devil already started;

1. By fasting and prayer, remember what Jesus said in Matthew 17:21, "Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting" we need to be on the Mountain of fasting and prayer. The Lord spoke about fasting in Isaiah 58:4-14 and in verse 8, He said, "Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine heath shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward". Note that without LIGHT, darkness can never leave, and Ephesians 6:12 says, "for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" "for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds", (2 Corinthians 10:4)

Ephesians 4:27 states clearly, "NEITHER GIVE PLACE TO THE DEVIL". The same way Michael and His Angels fought against the dragon and his angels in Heaven and there was no more place for them in Heaven, (Revelation 12:7-8), that is the same way you are to put up a fight with the dragon and overcome and there would be no more space from him in you or on your affairs.

2. But we must fight right. There must be something you go with when fighting the enemy, even David went with a sling and 5 smooth stones against Goliath, (1 Samuel 17:40) according to Ephesians 6:13-18

• First put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand the evil day, and having done all, to stand
• Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness
• And your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace
• Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked
• And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God
• Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

Jesus said "but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). and guess what! Jesus himself has a price for us for overcoming the devil see Revelation 3: 21, in clear terms Jesus said "To him that overcometh, will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne". Even Jesus had to fight and overcome and our father set Him down in His throne, so why shouldn't you put up a fight??

I pray that this Word of God, stir up fierce anger in you, against this dragon, the devil, so you can stand up and take over your great possessions. Believe me! your destiny is enviable, the devil just made it gloomy.

seek and find scriptures on what God has said concerning your case and take it to war against the devil using the name of Jesus Christ, and watch the devil release all your inheritances and what more! Jesus already promised to let us sit with Him on His throne, but only if we Overcome and praise God! WE ARE OVERCOMERS!

first things first, if you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior, then apart from the fact that you are the devil's playground, you are also an enemy of God (that is even the worst), if you are not saved, you are not safe, if you are not sure, then you are not saved. if you would like to give your life to Christ, say this prayer and mean it,
"Lord Jesus, I have come to You today, I accept that I am a sinner and I confess my sins and repent from them. I believe that You died on the cross of Calvary for my sins. Thank You for forgiving me. today I am saved, I am born again. thank You Jesus". if you said this prayer congratulations, you are now a child of God, so let go of the past evil ways, for the Bible says if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things have passed away, behold, all things are become new (2 Cor 5:17).
