More Revelations From John 1

John 1: 12
"But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name".

Dear Christians,
if you have received Christ then congratulations, you are now a child of God, so I will go briefly to state the proofs that show strongly that one is a child of God because there is more to it than just receiving Christ, because your sonship in God must be retained otherwise you will lose it.

Proofs That Indicate That We Are Children of God;

• As children of God, we must have faith in Christ Jesus Galatians 3:26
• As children of God, we must continue to be peace makers Matt 5:9
• As children of God, we must be followers of God Ephesians 5:1
• As children of God, we must love God with all our hearts, with all our soul and with all thy might. Deut. 6:5
• As children of God, we must love His people, since we must love God so we must love His people too, we are told that if we say we love God and hate our brothers then we are liars and the truth is not in us. 1 John 4:20
• As children of God, we must be led by the Holy Spirit, which means we must have the Holy Spirit in us, for as many are led by the Spirit of God, they are sons of God. Romans 8:14
• As children of God, we must pay attention when the Lord corrects us and do not be discouraged when He rebukes us, because the Lord corrects everyone He accepts as a child. Hebrews 12:5-6

Having seen some of the proofs that shows that we are children of God, what then are our benefits as children of God. it is important to know what is in the package that you signed up for so you know your right and confidently demand for it, remember the Lord said, "My people perish for lack of knowledge". Hosea 4:6

Some Benefits We Enjoy as Children of God

• As children of God, Our sins are forgiven for His name sake, 1 John 2:12
• As children of God, we become God's heirs and heirs inherit their fathers wealth so everything that God has becomes ours so we enjoy it freely. Galatians 4:7
• As children of God, we enjoy light of life as we keep following Christ which I initially stated as one of the proofs. since we are followers of God we shall not walk in darkness but shall have light of life. John 8:12
• As children of God, we enjoy glorious liberty; free from the bondage of corruption. Romans 8:21
• Moreso, as children of God who are in love with God, eyes has not seen, nor ears heard neither has it entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them that love Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9
• Let's not forget that Jesus speaking in Matthew 6:33, "But seek you first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you".

there are unlimited benefits we enjoy as Children of God but one can only enjoy the benefits only if he/she receives Christ as Lord and Personal Savior.

if you are not saved, you are not safe, if you are not sure, then you are not saved. if you would like to give your life to Christ, say this prayer and mean it,
"Lord Jesus, I have come to You today, I accept that I am a sinner and I confess my sins and repent from them. I believe that You died on the cross of Calvary for my sins. Thank You for forgiving me. today I am saved, I am born again. thank You Jesus".
